Snowbombing has revealed the second wave of artists heading to Mayrhofen next April, adding another serious selection of electronic music names to its 2027 line-up.
Returning to the Austrian Alps from 5th to 10th April 2027, Snowbombing had already announced Bicep (Live) and Fatboy Slim as joint headliners.
Now things have got considerably bigger.
Leading the second announcement is drum & bass heavyweight Andy C alongside 2ManyDJs, Basement Jaxx (DJ Set), Groove Armada (DJ Set), Ewan McVicar, Skream, Wilkinson and East End Dubs.
Arielle Free also joins the bill, alongside Bullet Tooth, Ellia Jaya, Fish56Octagon, Jess Iszatt and Sasha Gigi, with further names still to be announced.
For us, there’s plenty to like in that second wave alone.
Basement Jaxx and Groove Armada remain two names intrinsically linked with British dance music culture, while 2ManyDJs have spent more than two decades tearing apart the rulebook when it comes to what can work in a DJ set.
Throw Skream, Ewan McVicar and East End Dubs into the equation and there’s a particularly strong House and club music contingent sitting alongside the festival’s drum & bass offering from Andy C and Wilkinson.
And then, of course, there’s the setting.
Snowbombing has built its reputation by taking the traditional festival format and dropping it into the Austrian Alps, with parties taking place across Mayrhofen rather than simply within a conventional festival site.
The 2027 edition will once again feature its Street Parties, Forest Parties and Mountaintop Brunches alongside Secret Sets, Bongo’s Bingo, Rompa’s Reggae Shack, the Wellness Oasis and Snolympics.
For those actually heading out there to make use of the mountains, the surrounding area also offers more than 625km of skiing and snowboarding.
Across six days, that means the week can move from skiing and mountain sessions during the day into après parties, intimate sets and full-scale club nights once the sun disappears.
And there’s still more to come.
With Bicep performing live, Fatboy Slim already confirmed and a second wave containing Andy C, 2ManyDJs, Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, Skream and plenty more, Snowbombing’s 2027 line-up is already looking seriously stacked.
