One of the UK’s hottest upstarts Enzo Is Burning is about to drop an edit that has people scrambling the internet trying to find.

We’ve featured Enzo Is Burning previously on the KOTT pages (read here) and since that time he’s been soaring into the loftiest of positions in the UK dance scene. Supported by Radio 1 DJ’s and now been asked to take part in Defected’s ultimate B2B live stream on March 1st as one of the 25 DJ’s to play, the future is bright for the young Londoner.

So far Enzo has been steadily releasing his sought after edits. Names like Jorge Smith, George Benson and Sade have all been touched by the hands of Enzo and now it’s the time of American singer-songwriter Angie Stone. Probably most famous for being the last song to be played by Carl Cox at the epic closing of Ibiza institute ‘Space’, “I Wish I Didn’t Miss You’ is a 2002 released soul/rnb track samples the 1972 classic ‘Back Stabbers” by The O’Jays. The track was remixed by Hex Hector & Mac Quayle and Pound Boys (the version Cox played at Space closing).

This edit from Enzo Is Burning is a nice rolling house groove that simply re-drums the kick and percussion, uses some nice chops and throws in a mix of both the original and The O’Jays original. The disco parts are twisted and sound lifted through the mix. It’s nothing ground breaking but god does it make you want to get up and dance.

There is no official date for this release and we are actively torturing Enzo for more information but hell just enjoy it whilst it’s here.
