Tuccillo and The Checkup combine on Aguas Congas, landing via Heattraxx in early May with a remix from Reboot.

Ibiza stalwart Tuccillo has long been a steady presence in the deeper end of the house spectrum, with releases across labels like Kaoz Theory and Hudd Traxx, while The Checkup continues to build out his Heattraxx imprint with a focus on groove-led, club-ready sounds.

This new EP is a perfect partnership, let’s dive in. The title track opens with shuffling drums and a weighty low-end groove, rolling steadily with subtle vocal touches layered throughout. It’s a stripped-back, sunlit cut that leans into feel over complexity, ideal for early or open-air sets.

Snare Love shifts into a looser groove, with a deeper bassline sitting beneath soft percussion and airy hats. The arrangement feels slightly off-grid, with keys and strings adding a warmer melodic edge as it unfolds.

On the flip, Free My Soul picks up the pace with a more direct deep house approach. Driving kicks and crisp textures carry the track, while a synth-led breakdown introduces a more expansive feel before dropping back into a tighter groove.

Closing things out, Reboot steps in with an Extra Picante remix of the title cut. As expected, the drums are sharpened and the groove tightened, with added swing and percussive detail pushing it further into peak-time territory.

A functional, groove-led release that stays understated throughout, with enough variation across the tracks to cover multiple points in a set.

Release date for this one is 8th May 2026, pre order it here.
