Mysterious label/producer T RECS is back with another piece of sample magic, this time having their way with Bel Amour’s 2000 classic.
We’ll keep this one short as we have no idea who is behind the release or who is behind the label. Easy. Following on from their only other release ‘TRECS01’ that took on Donald Glover’s ‘This Is America’, the mysterious label is back this time editing/bootlegging their way back to the 2000 Bel Amour track ‘Bel Amour’. Sampling Jo Basso’s 1978 track ‘The Mistery With Me’ this French filtered Disco number was a dance floor smash.
Now in this edit the meat of the Bel Amour track is kept the same, pumping bass lines, that original female vocal hook but now we’ve got a classic male acapella over the top. A super charged weapon for the 2024 summer season.
