Henry Jackson Newcomb’s alias Comb and his Norwich-based label I Travel To You have been delving deep into the funky soul numbers since 2021. Sampling the likes of Marvin Gaye, Lee Fields, Deborah’s ‘Lo Que No Haria Por Amor’ and more, this classy UK label is unassumingly doing the business right now.
This track ‘Por Amor’ is an actually a re-release of the ITTY’s 2021 released edit from their 2021 debut EP. Bringing funk, jazz, disco and a Spanish flavour to the Caldwell classic, this edit just oozes sultry fun. Coolness personified, this bag of hot flesh rhythms has got us dreaming of evening siestas on a warm terrace somewhere. We love it.
