Andy Manumission and Pikes Ibiza present Mondays

Former Manumission co-owner Andy McKay joins Pikes to take over Mondays in Ibiza for a guaranteed night of debauchery.

For over three decades, Mondays in Ibiza have been revered as the best day of the week to let loose, live in the moment and go with the flow. Celebrating rather than dreading the first day of the week is a cultural quirk unique to Ibiza, and for 2024, Ibiza’s iconic hotel Pikes will host the Island’s most exciting new party featuring unannounced DJs across the season. Andy Manumission & Pikes Ibiza present MONDAYS will be a nod to the past three decades and Ibiza’s infamous glory days of the early 90s. Starting from Monday 29th April, Pikes will be kicking the week off with a bit of a magic, a place for party people to escape as like-minded partygoers and island residents alike come together to embrace the freedom of being in a Balearic paradise.

Pikes owner Andy McKay – the man known as Andy Manumission – has long been a pioneer of these halcyon Monday nights, having co-founded and promoted one of the most legendary club events in the world during its heyday. Now 30 years later, inspired by the spirit and unmatched energy of the Manumission era, he pays tribute to this heritage by launching a new series of innovative events in Freddies: Andy Manumission & Pikes Ibiza present Mondays.

Drawing on the original basis of the legendary club night before phones and superstar DJ line-ups, Mondays at Pikes is about freedom and letting loose. Forget clear-cut set times and worship at the altar of the selector – if at any point guests are filming, a curtain will be drawn around the DJ booth so that the focus remains on letting go of your inhibitions and losing yourself on the dancefloor.

Music is what always brings one another together beneath the disco ball, and for these Monday sessions, Pikes will invite some of their nearest and dearest, and new faces to join. All lineups will be unannounced and of totally equal status, not to mention given the freedom to play their own style of music.

Pikes encourages guests to return to the core of the analog days of clubbing with a no photo policy, giving you the freedom to do what you want, when you want, with whomever you want creating a new utopia with an old school vision. In fact, to inspire new connections and bring a buzzing social element onto the dancefloor, Pikes will be giving all revellers name tags at the door, come as yourself or not!

There’s nothing quite like immersing yourself in the music and the atmosphere, soaking up the authentic spirit of Ibiza and truly being in the moment on a Monday. Now is the time to return to the values of Ibiza’s golden era, and of course, we believe there’s no better place to put them into practice than at Pikes – the closest place to a spiritual home to the original Manumission concept in 2024.
