The wonderful sandy expanses of Costa Da Caparica host the daytime action at the festival’s main base, Praia Irmao, or as the locals say: Place Of Happiness. The stunning beach club is renowned for its magical atmosphere found inside the mesmerising surroundings, with the Atlantic Ocean lapping just meters away. And by night, the festival continues at Magic Yard a few miles inland, an incredible mansion-like location with its own ballroom and outside chill out area in the orange grove and pool area, open until 6am. The Principe Do Tejo will host a series boat parties up the River Tagus and under the Golden Gate type suspension bridge, the Ponte 25 de Abril.

“There’s going to be a mix of incredible DJs, artists and performers sound-tracking a glorious long weekend on the stunning Costa Da Caparica coastline. Praia Irmao is the perfect place for daytime partying and then we’ve got the Magic Yard open until dawn and of course some boat parties too. When we saw the beautiful beach we immediately knew this was where we had to go – it’s going to blow people’s minds when they see what we have got. Across these locations there will be some fantastic headliners alongside the next generation of talent, with a crew of legends joining us and some on-point debutants. This is all about celebrating the heritage we have and starting something fresh for everyone who’s been with us on the journey.” Alex Lowes, SunceBeat’s co-founder

SunceBeat New Horizons will take place primarily in the Costa Da Caparica coastal area, a 15-20 minute drive from Lisbon. Praia Irmao has a panoramic beach for sublime sunsets, a lovely restaurant onsite and street food stalls will be added for the festival, along with SunceBeat’s wonderful attention to detail across all locations.

The fabled city of Lisbon is a foodie and culture paradise, a beautiful place to explore and fairly priced compared to other parts of Europe – its perfect to spend time in before or after the festival. Lisbon is serviced by many of Europe’s and the world’s airlines, with flight options from lots of destinations.

Taking place across the long weekend of Thursday 18th – Sunday 21st July 2024, SunceBeat tickets can be found here.
