It’s official – XXL MALTA is on. A no-holds-barred, audio-visual techno experience like no other, the festival lands on the island of Malta in May next year, bringing with it some of the hottest underground acts around.

After a monumental XXL event at Depot Mayfield in Manchester just weeks ago, the teams behind XXL MALTA – Teletech and WHP – made filthy, dirty techno dreams come true as they dropped the surprise festival announcement on socials immediately afterwards, with thousands of fan comments within minutes.

XXL MALTA gives the global techno family the rare opportunity to come together on the sands and under the sun, with locations for the festival promising to take the XXL experience to a whole new level. With XXL’s reputation for putting on nights and weekender events that take no prisoners when it comes to production levels, fans can expect everything to be turned up to 11, including the line-up. Heavy-hitting names already confirmed include AZYR, Biia, BLK., Cera Khin, DJ Stingray, Hannah Laing, Kettama, Kobosil, Klangkuenstler, Partiboi69, Rebekah, Sara Landry, with more to be announced early in the new year.

With five venues, including Malta’s iconic castle at Fort St Elmo, organisers also announced a raft of boat parties across the three day event, details of which will be announced soon.
