20 years after its original release, Roy Davis Jr.’s ‘About Love’ receives a remix from Jaden Thompson on Classic.
A Strictly Rhythm and XL Recordings alumnae, Roy Davis Jr. was instrumental in defining the sound of Chicago house in the new millennium with 2003’s ‘About Love’ and its Solid Groove remix remaining firm favourites of choice selectors then and now. An artist to meet Roy’s talent, Jaden Thompson returns to Classic after his two-track label debut ‘To The Light’ made waves in 2020; since then he has released with industry titan Seth Troxler, performed alongside label boss Luke Solomon and launched his own label Midnight Parade. Now the loyal fabric resident remixes the headsy ‘About Love’, significantly upping the tempo and adding his signature groove over a deep, rolling bassline.
