Italian producer Lello Di Franco, aka L.D.F., takes more of a curator’s role on this release, steering the EP through a rich blend of deep house, jazz textures, Afro-rooted rhythms and immersive grooves. The fingerprints of Byron The Aquarius are immediately recognisable throughout. His loose, jazz-infused approach gives the EP plenty of soul, especially in the swung drums, off-grid keys and organic feeling arrangements that sound more like musicians jamming in a smoky basement than rigidly programmed club tracks. There’s a warmth and spontaneity running through the release that keeps things feeling alive.
Tilman brings a more hypnotic edge to proceedings, helping glue the EP together with smooth, rolling grooves and understated deep house elegance. His touch keeps the energy simmering rather than exploding, allowing the project to maintain its meditative flow from start to finish.
