Italian-based duo Harley&Muscle revisit some of their standout releases with names like India, Lisa Shaw, Michael Procter all appearing on this new remix EP.

Harley&Muscle step into focus as true custodians of Deep House, channeling decades of underground culture into a sound rooted in soul, groove, and analog warmth. Emerging from Milan’s fertile scene, the duo built their reputation not on hype, but on a deep understanding of the genre’s emotional core, where jazz textures, rolling basslines, and dusty rhythms collide with purpose.

Raised on vinyl culture and driven by a passion for authenticity, their productions tap into the essence of what makes house music timeless. Each release feels considered and lived-in, balancing introspection with dancefloor functionality, and always guided by feeling over formula. It is this commitment to depth and musicality that has seen Harley&Muscle become a trusted name among selectors and listeners alike.

More than just producers, they represent a lineage of Deep House that values substance over trend. Their music does not chase moments, it creates them, living in that space where groove, soul, and atmosphere lock together and refuse to let go.

This new release see’s firstly Jimpster take on the 2010 released ‘Then Came You’ that features the impeccable La India of MAW fame. Moving on from the silky soul of the original, Jimpster toughens up the groove with sharp stabs, chunky kicks whilst keeping the underpinning soul of the track. First class stuff as always from Jimpster. The 2015 released ‘Possibilities’ gets a new envisioning from NYC producer Sweet Abraham. As a production this sounds gorgeous. From its rolling bass line to layers of intricate sounds used as a platform for Monday Michiru’s sweet, sweet vocal, this is modern soulful house.

Detroit stalwart Drivetrain pays tribute to the late Michael Procter with his late night sultry remix of ‘She Said’. High strings, melancholic keys, bubbling bass lines and scraping percussive hits standout, whilst Procter’s vocal still sounds oh so soulful. Closing the EP is Sandro Serra’s Mo’Cream moniker with his deep house journey of the Lisa Shaw led ‘Feeling Good’.

The ‘Adaptive Remixes’ EP lands on their own Soulstar Records from 27/03/26. Promo available here.
