London’s Brixton Disco Festival is back for its eighth edition on Saturday 2 May 2026, bringing a huge line-up of DJs, live acts and cultural programming across the district’s most iconic venues.

London’s beloved celebration of disco, soul and dance culture returns this spring as Brixton Disco Festival announces its 2026 edition. Taking place on Saturday 2 May, the independently run event once again transforms Brixton into a network of dance floors, live stages and community spaces, running from 2pm through until 2am.

Now in its eighth year, the festival continues to champion the rich musical heritage of the area while welcoming a global roster of selectors, producers and live performers. Across multiple venues, the programme brings together a cross-section of disco, soulful house, funk and underground dance music.

Leading the bill is Chicago house icon Derrick Carter, whose timeless blend of house, disco and funk remains a cornerstone of club culture worldwide. Joining him is Balearic tastemaker Luke Una, renowned for his genre-spanning selections and deep crate-digging sets.

French groove specialist Young Pulse also lands in Brixton with his signature fusion of disco, funk and soulful house, while UK disco stalwart Dave Lee JN continues his decades-long contribution to the scene.

Elsewhere on the line-up, legendary broadcaster and selector Norman Jay returns with his trademark eclectic sets, joined by globally respected DJs Natasha Diggs, Melvo Baptiste and London’s own house and disco champion Aroop Roy.

One of the standout moments of the 2026 programme arrives with Mousse T. presenting his Revival House Project, a live showcase celebrating the vocal foundations of house music. The performance features powerhouse vocalists Kathy Brown, Peyton, Imaani and Nambi, delivering a full-bodied celebration of classic house energy with a live performance twist.

Live music also plays a key role in the festival’s offering. Australian outfit Close Counters bring their jazz-inflected electronic groove to the stage, while soulful vocalist Marcia Carr adds another dimension to the programme.

Across the wider line-up, dance floors will be fuelled by an extensive roster of selectors including Tommy Soul, Tonno Disko, Carly Foxx, The Disco Don (BLVD), Faro, Jade Edwards, LEV, Palma Music, Saint Lukez, Tayo & Frank Tope, Tigerbalm and Utopia Presents, reflecting the breadth of today’s underground disco and soul scenes.

Returning partners once again curate key stages across the festival. London institution Faith All Dayer takes charge with residents Dave Jarvis, Stuart Patterson and Terry Farley, while Deep Into Soul bring their uplifting house and soul energy courtesy of Neil Pierce and Sy Sez. The Disco Express also returns with Bustin’ Loose and guests, promising a high-energy celebration of classic and contemporary disco.

Beyond the dance floors, the festival continues to highlight dance music’s cultural legacy. This year includes a special screening at Ritzy Cinema of Rockers Don’t Stop: The Revival of Rockers Revenge, followed by a Q&A with legendary producer Arthur Baker, offering rare insight into one of the defining moments in dance music history.

Festival tickets grant access to a host of venues across Brixton including Electric Brixton, Brixton Jamm, Phonox, Brixton Village, Black Cultural Archives, Ritzy Cinema, Bricks and Brixton Storeys.

As always, Brixton Disco Festival celebrates the area’s deep-rooted musical heritage while connecting generations of DJs, dancers and music lovers through a shared love of groove. With a programme spanning DJ sets, live performances, film and community-led programming, the 2026 edition looks set to deliver another unforgettable day and night in one of London’s most vibrant cultural districts.
