No Fuss return with a carefully curated deep house sampler that leans on timeless grooves, subtle soul and floor-ready finesse.

No Fuss Records continue their quietly consistent run with NFRV 014, a four-track vinyl-only release that stays true to the label’s ethos of quality over hype. This is deep house rooted in tradition but delivered with a modern sense of restraint and purpose, aimed squarely at DJs who value groove, warmth and longevity.

Saison opens proceedings with The Truth, a smooth and soulful cut built on elastic drums, warm pads and a gently bubbling acid line. It is understated but confident, the kind of opener that settles a room into the right frequency without demanding attention, yet rewards close listening with its subtle musical shifts.

Next up, DJ Romain delivers I’m Gonna Love You, a respectful nod to 90s New York house heritage. Classic organ stabs, a rolling bassline and a loose, swinging groove give the track a familiar but never tired feel. It is raw enough for underground floors but polished with the musicality that Romain has long been known for.

On the flip, Manuel Sahagun’s Rouff brings a more rugged edge. Loop-driven and percussive, the track thrives on tension and repetition, with small melodic details weaving in and out of a chunky, bumping rhythm. It is functional, direct and effective, perfect for mid-set momentum.

Closing the EP is Toni Lionni’s remix of Deepmore’s Babe, and it is a standout moment. Smooth, spacious and deeply hypnotic, Lionni strips things back to a glowing late-night groove, allowing the track to breathe with patience and poise. This is deep house in its purest form, elegant, immersive and built for extended play.

NFRV 014 is another strong statement from No Fuss. A balanced VA that works as a complete listening experience while offering DJs four dependable tools that will age gracefully long after release week.
