Manchester’s Mason Collective make a long-overdue debut on The Martinez Brothers’ Cuttin’ Headz, and as expected, they’ve arrived with a two-track heater that oozes club energy and technical precision.

Few crews in UK house balance underground credibility with peak-time impact quite like Mason Collective. Over the past few years, Blair Suarez, Adam Myles and Omar Guedar have carved out a signature sound that thrives on swing, texture and groove that makes crowds move without ever feeling forced. Their latest EP My Love lands perfectly within that space, capturing their evolution while locking in with the raw, percussive edge that defines Cuttin’ Headz.

The title track My Love is built around tight rolling drums and a vocal hook that instantly grabs attention. The low-end weight keeps it firmly on the floor while crisp hi-hats and subtle percussive fills drive the rhythm forward. It feels made for those peak-time club moments, sleek and irresistible from start to finish.

On the flip, Garbi featuring Barcelona’s YLAM adds a sultry twist to the formula. Spanish vocals glide over a hypnotic groove filled with deep basslines and shimmering synth touches. It’s less of a big-room stormer and more of a slow-burning cut that builds atmosphere and depth, providing a perfect balance to the EP.

With My Love, Mason Collective continue to show why they are one of the most in-demand names in house music. This debut marks a natural meeting of minds between the Manchester trio and one of New York’s most respected labels. Expect to hear both tracks working their way into sets across Ibiza and beyond as the new season kicks in.
