Sublime disco from the London crew Heavy Disco land on vinyl this November with the ‘Disco Amnesia’ EP.
London’s long-serving Heavy Disco crew return with another deft entry in their re-edit oeuvre, building on the momentum of their 2025 comeback 12″. Where the previous outing teased killer boogie-soul and disco-not-disco cuts from Tavares and The Police, this follow-up digs deep into their string-laden disco roots.
A-side ‘Disco Amnesia’ is simply sublime. The scalpel-wielding Cockneys extend a luscious, string-wrapped disco gem, elevating it to soulful heights without ever losing the groove. Side B opens with ‘Let’s Be Free’, a neat reimagining of an electric piano-driven disco-jazz-funk hybrid, tight and elegant, perfect for those deep late-night sets. Closing cut ‘Unconditional Love’ rounds out the release with a mid-tempo disco-soul sing-along, destined to be the final, euphoric soundtrack to many a night.
A classy, dancefloor-ready follow-up that confirms Heavy Disco’s enduring knack for soulful, re-edited brilliance. Pre order it here.
