DJ Cent returns to Naeba bringing two tough House cuts on the ‘Unified Dance’ EP that have a real 90’s Detroit feel.

With more than three decades behind the decks, DJ Cent has long embodied the warmth and authenticity that define Detroit’s soulful edge. Her latest release, Unified Dance, distills that legacy into two cuts that balance uplift and precision, serving as both a celebration of unity and a reminder of house music’s spiritual roots.

Opening track Let’s Go moves with classic floor energy. The groove rides at 126 BPM, driven by a crisp kick and layered percussion that recalls the mid-90s deep-house palette but with modern low-end weight. The vocal snippets are subtle but motivational, a kind of rallying cry that captures DJ Cent’s reputation for positivity. It is unpretentious, club-ready house with the pulse of community built in, the sort of track that can lift an early-morning crowd without resorting to gimmicks.

The second track, To The Lord (World Mix), goes deeper and more devotional. Gospel-infused vocals float over rounded chords and syncopated hi-hats, channeling the energy of spiritual house without becoming overly nostalgic. There is a clarity to the mix that lets each layer breathe, from the rolling bassline to the shimmering pads. At 127 BPM, it is the more driving of the two, but still feels grounded in warmth rather than aggression.

Across both cuts, DJ Cent’s production reflects her roots in deep, vocal, and gospel house traditions while integrating the broader textures of tech and Baltimore club influences. The result is contemporary but human, a sound that invites dancers to connect rather than simply consume.

Unified Dance does not try to reinvent house; instead, it refines its purpose. In a time when digital precision can strip the soul from club music, DJ Cent reminds us that joy, community, and groove remain inseparable.
