Yorkshire’s Doorly, L.A. legend Gary Richards (aka Destructo), and Australian duo Colour Castle are Misingo and they are about to land on Hard Times with DJ Rae and Gene Farris for ‘Give Your Love’ that features remixes from DJ Pierre, DJ Romain and Charles Levine.

There’s a beautiful tension at the heart of Give You Love — one that fuses global distance with dancefloor intimacy. Born from lockdown separation and the shared heartbeat of house music, Misingo‘s debut offering on Hard Times Records feels like a love letter written in four different accents, all speaking the same universal language.

At the core is a hypnotic original cut built around a bubbling acid line, dusky pads, and a rolling groove that pulls you inward. DJ Rae’s vocal is the centrepiece here: low-slung, sultry and full of emotional grit. It’s not over-polished, and that’s its power. She sings like someone letting go in real time. Enter Gene Farris, whose trademark baritone adds a raw counterbalance. The call-and-response dynamic isn’t just a stylistic choice — it becomes a conversation, a communion.

What follows is a remix package that reads like a history lesson in house. DJ Pierre leads the charge with a Wild Pitch rework that oozes sleazy elegance. Think thick basslines, sparkled synths and peak-time pressure, all delivered with the confidence of a true pioneer. It’s sunset house with a warehouse edge.

DJ Romain takes things to church with a soulful rework full of warm keys, gospel-laced chords and rhythmic finesse. His remix feels like a slow exhale after a long night — deep, affirming, and full of heart. This is New York soul with deep roots in the dance.

Closing things out is Charles Levine (Soul Clap), who dials it down and opens it up. His version floats on groove, pulling space around Rae’s vocal while adding a touch of quirky funk that keeps the hips guessing. It’s a heads-down cut with a wink and a smile.

Give You Love isn’t just a collaboration — it’s a cross-continental communion. Doorly, Destructo, Colour Castle, DJ Rae and Gene Farris have crafted something that feels deeply personal yet built for collective release. With Hard Times curating a remix lineup that bridges past and present, this release is a shining reminder that the soul of house still burns bright.

Available from June 27th, 2025. You can preorder the release here.
