Northern Ireland’s finest, Ejeca, makes a storming debut on Gudu Records with the peak-time juggernaut “All I Need”, the title track from his forthcoming four-track EP. Already road-tested by Peggy Gou in her recent sets and picking up heavyweight support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Solomun, TSHA, and Barry Can’t Swim, this one comes with plenty of buzz and more than lives up to the hype.
“All I Need” is an instant floor-filler, built on the kind of classic house sensibility that feels both fresh and timeless. A rugged, driving bassline sets the foundation, looping confidently beneath an expertly chopped vocal sample that gives the track its soulful punch. “I’ve gone back to my roots and made an EP for the first time in quite a while- four DJ tools for the dancefloor covering all areas of house music,” Ejeca.
