Highly respected producer Shur-I-Kan returns to Fred Everything’s ‘Lazy Days’ label with the deliciously deep ‘Composition X’.
London producer/DJ Tom Szirtes aka Shur-I-Kan has been an integral part of the London deep house scene for over two decades. A major part of Jimpster’s Freerange Records, Shur-I-Kan was prolific right up to 2021 with releases on labels like Tsuba, Anjunadeep, Slip N Slide and the label we’re talking about today Lazy Days.
‘Composition X’ is a rhythmically stunning groove, built on a solid 4/4 by Fred Everything with perfectly spaced percussion hits, the track grooves along so nice. Classically trained Tom adds delicate piano lines over cool textured layers and all underpinned by solemn bass tones that act as a backbone to the track.
