JKriv returns with the second instalment of his Bedits series, bringing a selection of his most in-demand edits to wax. Originally a digital-only project, these cuts have been tested and refined over time, and it shows.

Opening track “No Great Pretender” sets the tone with a jazz-tinged disco workout, all warm guitar licks and filtered grooves, reworked with extra weight for peak-time play. It’s a confident, floor-ready edit that balances subtlety with impact.

“Mukara” follows with a more percussive edge, leaning into Afro-funk territory. Rolling rhythms and layered instrumentation give it a raw, driving energy that feels tailor-made for longer sets.

On the flip, “In The Clouds” shifts things into lighter, more uplifting territory. Jangling pianos, loose vocals and bright melodic touches give it that classic disco feel, reimagined with a modern sensibility. Closing cut “Corpo Escultural” rounds things off with a tropical twist, blending skittish drums, weighty bass and cumbia influences into something that feels both playful and effective.
