Vince Watson revisits one of his most sought after tracks with the Eminesence EP, pairing a refined 2026 rework with a powerful new floor mix of ‘Reach For The Sun’.
Few producers in electronic music have maintained such a consistent and musically rich catalogue as Vince Watson. Celebrating three decades in the scene, the Glasgow born artist continues to refine his signature blend of melodic house and techno with the Eminesence EP, released via his own imprint Everysoul.
The title track Eminesence (2026 Rework) revisits a record that has long held near mythical status among collectors. Originally released in 2015 on Yoruba Records in an extremely limited vinyl run, the track quickly became one of Watson’s most sought after releases. Now fully remastered and carefully reworked, the new version breathes fresh life into the original composition.
Warm melodic layers unfold over a crisp rhythmic foundation while Watson’s unmistakable piano and synth arrangements glide across the groove. The track balances emotional depth with dancefloor focus, building steadily with subtle chord progressions and shimmering textures that capture the timeless musicality that has defined his work for decades.
Backing the release is Reach For The Sun (Floor Mix), a fresh interpretation of a track that first appeared on Watson’s acclaimed album Every Soul Needs A Guide. This updated version leans firmly toward the club, powered by a driving rhythm section and vibrant jazz influenced elements. Bright chord stabs, soaring strings and uplifting melodic phrases evoke the spirit of classic Detroit inspired house and techno while maintaining a sleek modern production edge.
Across the EP, Watson once again demonstrates the qualities that have made him such a respected figure within the global electronic music community. His productions remain rooted in strong musical ideas, balancing technical precision with emotional resonance.
With Eminesence EP, Vince Watson revisits the past while pushing forward with renewed energy. It is a reminder that even after thirty years in the game, his ability to craft elegant and uplifting electronic music remains as sharp as ever.
