The Dutch tastemaker delivers a deeply personal 19-track statement, landing 3rd April 2026.
After years of shaping dancefloors worldwide and carving out a distinct sonic identity through his Up The Stuss imprint, Chris Stussy is set to unveil his most ambitious project to date. His debut album, Lost, Found & Forgotten…, arrives on 3rd April 2026, marking a major milestone for one of the Netherlands’ most influential house exports.
Spanning 19 tracks, the LP unfolds across three interconnected chapters titled Lost, Found, and Forgotten. Each section explores a different dimension of Stussy’s creative world while remaining tied to a singular, cohesive vision. The project stands as both a retrospective and a forward-looking statement, capturing the depth and evolution of his sound.
At its core, Lost, Found & Forgotten… is an exploration of creative freedom. Visually and conceptually guided by the image of a kite, the album reflects movement, perspective, and balance. Floating freely yet anchored to the ground, the kite mirrors Stussy’s approach to production: unrestricted in emotion and imagination, yet grounded in groove, craftsmanship, and intention. The symbolism naturally extends the Up The Stuss ethos, embracing openness and curiosity while maintaining a firm connection to the dancefloor.
Speaking on the album, Stussy explains:
“This album has been a long time in the making, and I’m excited to finally share it with you. The process behind it, exchanging ideas with other artists and creating music outside of my comfort zone, has been an incredible experience. It gave me a true sense of freedom, allowing me to not think about boundaries or expectations. I’ve never been more proud of a project than this one. It’s deeply personal, and it represents my sound as a whole. I hope you listen with an open mind and find something in it that resonates with you.”
The Lost chapter breathes new life into previously shelved ideas, tracks written at different points in Stussy’s journey that have now been rediscovered, refined, and fully realised. Rather than relics of the past, they feel renewed and purposeful.
Found captures inspiration in motion. Built around collaboration, shared energy, and creative exchange, this section promises an expansive and emotionally charged listening experience, featuring a diverse cast of contributors.
The closing chapter, Forgotten, nods to the deeper cuts and B-sides. These are the patient growers, the tracks that reward repeat listens and speak directly to dedicated heads and diggers. It is a fitting conclusion to a body of work that aims to blur the line between reality and surreality, inviting listeners to zoom in and out of its layered perspectives.
More than just a debut album, Lost, Found & Forgotten… stands as a reflection of Stussy’s journey so far, balancing instinct and intention while pointing firmly toward the future. Each chapter will be revealed in the lead-up to the full LP release, building anticipation ahead of its official drop.
