A seaside reunion bringing old friends and new faces together for two days of music, magic and memories in Margate.

Lovebox is back, and this time it’s by the sea. Partnering with Margate’s iconic Dreamland, Lovebox Presented By Dreamland takes place across 29th and 30th May 2026, transforming the historic amusement park into a playground of music, friendship and escapism. With its roller rink, arcade, neon lights and the golden sands just steps away, Dreamland offers a picture-perfect setting for a festival that has always been more than just a lineup, it’s a feeling, a reunion, a celebration of life and sound.

The festival’s ethos of eclecticism and discovery shines across its carefully curated two-day programme, featuring a mix of celebrated live acts and genre-defining DJs across three stages: the Main Stage, Hall By The Sea and the Roller Rink. Longtime Lovebox curators Andy and Lowri Ellis-Clarke bring their expert touch, shaping an experience that balances beloved veterans with fresh talent.

Friday 29th May launches with explosive energy. Drum and bass mainstays Rudimental headline alongside legendary house producer Armand Van Helden and the rave-fuelled sounds of 4AM KRU. The four-piece power group Girls Don’t Sync light up the floor with bassline, house and grime, while Goldie b2b Special Request deliver a rare, high-octane B2B session. Festival OGs Groove Armada reunite for a special DJ set, with DJ EZ, Mike Skinner and reggae icon David Rodigan rounding out a Friday primed for pure dancefloor joy.

Saturday 30th May continues the momentum with a colourful mix of live acts and DJs. Headliners Scissor Sisters promise a full-scale pop celebration, while British soul legends Soul II Soul and indie dance trio Friendly Fires bring their timeless sounds. Acclaimed selectors Jayda G, Dan Shake, Storm Mollison and disco collective Horse Meat Disco deliver peak-time energy, and Lovebox original Jools Butterfield returns to anchor the festival’s musical soul. The day is completed with sets from Huns N’ Roses, Dance Dance Dance, Head Of State and Bee Onyett, ensuring every corner of Dreamland pulses with sound.

This seaside edition of Lovebox is a celebration of connection. “Lovebox has always been more than a festival, it’s a feeling, a reunion, a moment of pure connection,” says Rory Bett, CEO of Lovebox Festival. “Once you step inside, you’re part of the family forever. This year, that spirit is reborn by the sea.”

Dreamland CEO Eddie Kemsley adds: “Since reopening in 2015, Dreamland has become Margate’s cultural hub and a key stop for touring artists. Opposite the golden sands, we offer rides, roller discos, arcades, pop-ups, art installations and street food, creating a unique backdrop for Lovebox’s first seaside edition.”
