This September, London’s dance music community comes together to celebrate one of its greatest icons, Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson.

On Sunday September 28th, A Night of Legacy & Love – Tribute to Paul “Trouble” Anderson takes over The Star of Kings in King’s Cross for a free daytime party that honours the life, music and enduring spirit of a true legend.

Few DJs have left as deep an imprint on UK club culture as Paul “Trouble” Anderson. From the youth clubs and soul scene of the 70s through to roller discos, warehouse raves, super clubs and global festivals, Paul was always there, shaping the sound and spirit of the dancefloor. His residencies at Crackers, the Electric Ballroom, Loft Club and Bump N’ Hustle became the stuff of legend, while his nine-year prime-time mix show on Kiss 100 FM introduced countless listeners to house and soul, breaking artists like Barbara Tucker, Jocelyn Brown, Ultra Nate and Byron Stingily along the way.

This special tribute brings together the cream of London’s soul, funk and house DJs across two rooms. The Advance Dance Arena will channel Paul’s pioneering energy with sets from Colin Dale, Kid Batchelor, Linden C, Roy The Roach, Jazzie Que (Soul II Soul) and Trudy Lady T, alongside live P.A.s from Marcus Begg and Hannah Khemoh. Meanwhile, the Good Groove Lounge keeps the funk, soul and disco flowing courtesy of Micky D, Stafford Black Market, Mr Shiver, AJ, Johnny Rogue and JD, with MCs E-Mix and Nino hosting throughout.

Running from 4pm until midnight, this is more than just a party. It is a gathering of hearts, a celebration of golden moments and an opportunity to keep Paul’s legacy alive on the dancefloor.

“Paul is the king of the dance floor and a credit to us all.” Carl Cox
