Riva Starr’s “Vicino O’ Mare” is a vibrant fusion of Neapolitan heritage and contemporary dance music, marking a significant entry in his “Glitch On Naples” project. Released on June 21, 2024, via Snatch! Records, this track sees Starr collaborating with esteemed Italian producers D-Ross, Startuffo, and Torok to craft a sound that bridges traditional and modern musical landscapes.

Sung in the expressive Neapolitan dialect, “Vicino O’ Mare”, seemingly struck a chord with MAW powerhouse Louie Vega. Reaching deep into his Puerto Rican roots, Louie’s remix is a a rich tapestry of rhythmic percussion and keeping the vocals and guitar licks was a must. The dub is a fiery latin workout that drives sonically layers of drum hits and airy synth effects.
