Christian and Alan Anadon aka The Mambo Brothers debut on Armada Subjekt this December with a peak time builder entitled ‘Control’.
The two princes of Ibiza Alan and Christian Anadon maybe the heirs to the legendary Café Mambo but in their short time as the Mambo Brothers they’ve won favour on dance floors the world over with their direct, energetic productions. Releases on labels like Toolroom, Saved Records and Nothing Else Matters have all struck a chord with house music taste makers and this new cut on Armada’s Subjekt will no doubt again prove a favourite after being premiered by Radio 1’s Danny Howard recently.
‘Control’ opens with flavoursome drum sequences enriched by rattling percussion, low-slung evolving bass lines and active white noise that build with purpose to the first break where daunting synth booms ride out over more melodic lighter synths that dance around the beats perfectly. The main breakdown is a perfect ‘Ibiza’ styled euphoria with female vocals that soar hand in hand with the lead synth line, enter the snare build and then the enthused drop that will signal dance floor carnage. Hypnotic, energetic and most of all funky as hell, this is the Mambo Brothers at their best up to now for us.
‘Control’ will be released December 11th, 2017 via Armada Subjekt.
