Merseyside lad Melé returns to Eats Everything’s Edible label this November with the energetic ‘Atlantic‘ that certainly brings the party.
Following on from his 2016 track ‘Scouse Afrika‘ on Edible, Wirral-born Melé is ready to bring his unique rhythms back to Eats Everything’s popular label. Melé has been making a noise of late on labels like Riva Starr’s Snatch! Recordings, Defected sub-label DFTD and Radio 1 Monki’s ‘Monki & Friends’ series.
This new cut ‘Atlantic‘ is a heavy-swinging house groove full of punchy rhythms and clean, crisp percussion that will rattle your brain. Crazed chants couple with laser-like synth riffs to add the party injection whilst superb yet simple bass lines really fatten out the groove. This is a sure floor rocker.
Big shout out to Bristol artist Mr. Doodle who takes control of the Edible artwork over the next ten releases culminating into one entire piece at the end. We look forward to seeing this!
Melé’s ‘Atlantic’ will drop November 3rd, 2017 via Edible.
No public previews as of yet but check out ‘Scouse Afrika’ below in the meantime to get you in the mood.
